Test shoot

I'm pretty sure that the phrase "test shoot" is not known to most people outside of the photo world. A test shoot is when one of three parties ( model, make up artist, photographer) get a creative idea stuck in their craw and just have to get it out. So they get a shoot together and see what happened. It's an invigorating process because you never know what you're gonna get.
